4 principles
How I approach the work.
- Review the risky parts early
- I pay particular attention to authentication, money movement and failure handling. On BitBaax, that included wallet custody, secrets management and protection against double-spend and chain reorganizations.
- Keep product boundaries clear
- BitBaax and TetherBaax share an exchange core. TetherBaax added its own business logic and interface without a fork or changes to that core.
- Stay involved after release
- At Dana I handled infrastructure and GitLab CI as well as backend development. Across 950 pipeline runs, the CI failure rate fell from about 40% to 15%.
- Plan for dependencies to fail
- In FitYar, the GPT integration produces training programs. The app keeps workout, nutrition and habit tracking separate so those features work when the model is unavailable.
